Il Frantoio dei Cinque Colli ("Olive press of the 5 hills") is a cooperative society formed in 1976 inLucignano by locai olive producers who needed a larger scale structure and machinery able toprocess their own olives to a guarenteed high standard. Today there are more than 1000 members ofthe cooperative bringing olives from many parts of Valdichiana -Lucignano, Monte San Savino,Civitella della Chiana, Foiano della Chiana, Marciano della Chiana and so on arriving up to theone of Sinalunga and Rigomagno.
